§ 58-21. Connection charges for sewer laterals.

The city commission adopts the following charges, which will supersede charges adopted October 1, 1962:

(1)

A charge of $5.60 per foot from the center of the street to the property line shall be made for all laterals installed after August 14, 1967.

(2)

A charge of $5.60 per foot from the center of the street to the property line shall be made upon hook-up to the property, of a lateral where the records of the city indicate a lateral existed prior to August 14, 1967.

(3)

All laterals installed after August 14, 1967, shall be paid for by the property owner when installed in amount which shall cover all labor and materials in making the extension and connection, from the center of the street to the property line including the replacement of permanent type pavement, curb and gutter and sidewalk removed to install the laterals.

Upon completion of this installation the city shall send the bill to the property owner which bill will be due and payable within 30 days from the date of the invoice.
