§ 5.2. Regular Elections.

    A regular municipal election shall be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of every odd-numbered year.

    B.

    At the regular municipal election held in November of 1991, and every four (4) years thereafter, there shall be elected three (3) city commissioners, each having a term of four (4) years, At the regular municipal election held in November of 1993 and every four (4) years thereafter, there shall be elected four (4) city commissioners, each having a term of four (4) years. City commissioners' terms shall commence as provided by this charter, Commissioners shall serve for the term for which they are elected or until their successors are elected and have assumed office, unless a commissioner shall no longer possess the qualifications for office set forth in Chapter III herein, in which event there shall be deemed a vacancy in office.
