§ 3.6. Oath of Office.

At the first regular city commission meeting held more than fourteen (14) days after an election, the city commission shall meet at the usual place and time for the holding of meetings of the city commission, at which time newly elected commissioners shall take and subscribe to the oath of office prescribed by the State Constitution, which shall be filed and kept in the office of the clerk, and at which time the newly elected commissioners shall assume the duties of their offices.
