§ 54-6. Vehicle code.

(a)

Name. This section may be known and referred to as the "Parchment Vehicle Code Ordinance."

(b)

Adoption of Michigan Vehicle Code by reference. The city does hereby adopt by reference as an ordinance the Michigan Vehicle Code, being Act 300 of the Public Acts of 1949, as amended, MCL 257.1 et seq., in effect on the effective date of this section.

(c)

Section numbering to remain the same. The sections and subsections of this section shall be the same as and shall be designated for all purposes in the same manner as sections of the Michigan Vehicle Code.

(d)

Penalties. Violation of this section shall be punishable by the same penalties as under the Michigan Vehicle Code.
