§ 10-2. Unreasonable sounds; penalties for violation.

  • (a)

    No person in control of, in possession of, or being the owner of any animal, dog, bird or fowl shall permit said animal, dog, bird or fowl to utter a continued sound or frequent sound which shall cause disturbance, discomfort or inconvenience to any person in the vicinity of said continued or frequent sound, in any place within the City of Parchment, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.

    (b)

    Any person, firm or corporation who violates any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than $100.00, or imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed 90 days, or by both fine and imprisonment.
